Museum Event Features Art & Science of Trees
A special event on May 1 in the Fisher Museum will feature co-authors Frank Lowenstein (Harvard College '83) and Sallie Lowenstein discussing their new book, Clothed in Bark (Lion Stone Books), a hand-bound volume of 48 intricate photo-drawings of trees and an essay on forest change.
Author and environmental activist Bill McKibben calls Clothed in Bark "a book as unique in its thinking as in its garb--and a visceral reminder of what we’re losing as our forests disappear!”
The event, which begins at 7:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public, will be followed by a book sale and signing.
